K. David Khoobehi, M.D., Neurologist, treats patients suffering from a wide range of disorders including headaches and migraines; concussion and traumatic brain injury; stroke;  neurological sleep disorders, cognitive disorders, dementia and seizure disorders. Dr. Khoobehi participates in all phases of patient care including recovery. He frequently treated patients in the neuro-rehabilitation unit during his residency at Tulane.

His research experience is in the areas of stroke, coma, seizure and brain tumors.

Dr. Khoobehi  is a graduate of the LSU School of Medicine and completed both a neurology and internal medicine internship at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. He received the resident teaching award while at Tulane Medical Center. While a medical student at LSU in New Orleans, he received the Neurology Clerkship Outstanding Medical Student award. He attended Tulane University and earned a B.S. in Neuroscience.
